ECFH Joins Cause of Cancer Awareness   

The East Caribbean Financial Holding Company (ECFH), parent company of Bank of Saint Lucia, has given major support to the cause of cancer awareness and prevention. On Wednesday, ECFH presented representatives of the Saint Lucia Cancer Society with pink eco-friendly tote bags bearing the message ‘Live, Love, Believe in the Cure’. The company purchased 700 of these bags which it will sell to its customers and staff at a nominal price and all proceeds from these sales will go to the Cancer Society.

ECFH’s staff will also be participating in the Yoplait Walk for Cancer on November 7th which they have been doing every year. The company has always supported this cause through its staff members who purchase the traditional pink ribbons and t-shirts supplied by the Cancer Society. However, this year, ECFH’s purchase of the tote bags represents the company’s interest in helping to promote cancer awareness and prevention. The eco-friendly tote bags are also ECFH’s commitment to environmental protection under the umbrella of its recently launched Greedy for Green campaign.

ECFH also presented bags to representatives of Reach for Recovery, a cancer support group, and to Super J with whom ECFH is collaborating on this worthwhile cause.
